Google street to view Australia’s Great Barrier Reef

February 24, 2012

University of Queensland

Google in-partnership with the University of Queensland, and non-profit organization Underwater Earth, will conduct a vivid study as an effect of Climate Change in Australia’s premiere Great Barrier Reef.  This study will show how climate change will affect the migratory patterns of sharks, turtles, manta rays and such of its kind. This will also give future generation view of what is said to be one of the most diverse part of the world. It also raised the importance of protecting our own natural environment. Eventually the team hopes to expand its project in other important oceans in the world.
